Directed Electronics Acquires Trilogix Electronics

VISTA, CA -- Directed Electronics, Inc. (Nasdaq: DEIX) announced that it has acquired Trilogix Electronic Systems, Inc. and its affiliates.  Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Trilogix provides vehicle integration solutions that simplify the installation of aftermarket remote start systems by providing software-based technologies.

Directed viewed the transaction as a "strategic, tuck-in" acquisition designed to provide customers with the widest range of products in the industry.  Directed stated that the Trilogix team will remain in place to continue managing day-to-day operations.
